Fatahilah Museum

Museum Sejarah Jakarta (the museum of history of Jakarta) is the one displaying the history of development of Jakarta city, both the events and the community, from prehistoric until these present days.
Jakarta museum is located in a building of cultural property which the past known as Staduis, the city Hall of Batavia.

Museum Wayang Jakarta

Museum Wayang or shadow puppet museum is very close to Museum Sejarah Jakarta. in this place visitor are invited to know various characters, attitude and behaviour of the story of shadow puppet.

The Collection are wayang golek, wayang orang, topeng, wayang beber, wayang kaca and gamelan (traditional music instrument set).
Museum Senirupa and Ceramics

(museum of fine art and Ceramics) is place to enjoy arts. It is located beside Museum Sejarah Jakarta. Establish on January 21,1870, the building int he past used to be the office of Raad Van Justitie (Council of Justice) of the Dutch colonial period. The collection in this museum displaythe work of Indonesian artists since 1800s until today.

The display scluptures both of abstract and realism style. While the caramic collections display various ceramics both domestic and foreign. Local ceramic came from regions in Indonesia like Kasongan, Plered, Malang, Bandung, Palembang, Kalimantan, and others, most of which are contemporary creation.

Museum Bahari

Another museum in Jakarta you can reach about 2 km from museum Senirupa and Ceramics is Museum Bahari (Maritim Museum).
 
Museum Bahari is the only museum in Indonesia present maritime specific theme. The building used to be the former warehouse for storing spices which past known as Wstzidsche Pakhuizen building. The construction was don in couples stages; it was commenced in 1652 until 1774.
 
Museum Bahari have collection from various maritime aspects displayed in the form of natural and cultural heritages.

Museum Prasasti (inscription Museum)
